I started my training with Amang Pecto Baldemor but was cut short due to relocation. Sadly my Master is gone. I'm now based in Baliuag Bulacan. Is there any Maestro near my location? Many many moons have past and I want to resume my training. I also want to learn the art of "Hilot". Please advise how I can learn these two Filipino home grown art. Thank you, Zita

Gat Puno Abon Baet,

My name is Gregory Gibson. I am 50 years old, and live and work in Dade County.

From a self-diefense platform, I have become fascinated with the efficacy and practicality of the Filipino Martial Arts in general, and with the Garimot Arnis discipline in particular. From what I've been able to ascertain thus far, Garimot Arnis appears to be a tremendously efficient and highly comprehensive self-defense system. However, I sometimes have trouble distinguishing between the multiple different, seemingly closely-related disciplines in the Filipino Martial Arts, and I would like to understand more completely the difference in Garimot Arnis with the other, similar disciplines.

Nonetheless, I have a definite interest in learning more about this art for self-defense., and would be interested in understanding if you are accepting new students for instruction in this this very serious and highly-traditional martial art discipline.

I am currently living in Miami Lakes. Would it be possible for us to speak, or possibly I could visit your place of instruction? I would sincerely appreciate any time and/or consideration you could provide.

Thank you!
